UNTITLED, PERFORMANCE

Ditte Johanne Krogh Bertelsen will present the performance ‘Untitled (pancake)’ on Wednesday the 29 of July at 6 pm at Level 1 at Aros.

Through a continuous choreography of actions, the audience witnesses a gradual transformation of Krogh Bertelsen’s body.
With playdough she shapes her body and forms it into a living tableau - slowly becoming one with the playdough in front of the eyes of the audience. 

The process can be observed from the stairs above as well as up close.

Ditte Johanne Krogh Bertelsen’s work focus on the body and how it can be used to explore physical spaces as well as expressing inner states. She is testing the physical limits of the body thus constantly questioning endurance as a method to push boundaries.
Often the approach adds a mixture of vulnerability as well as an understated humor.

Materials:
100 kg play dough, red boots, body and space.
